I got 4 of these Tenergy cells from a friend, and they are simply AMAZING!Not only the capacity is so huge, but also I heard they are the new generation low-self-discharge, and after a few months use, I can testify that all these are TRUE! One bad thing for me is that I do not have a good charger, my old D cell capable charger can only do 500mA, so it took a whole day and night for me to charge them, but I have never had to do the recharge often at all, it lasts so long that I feel like it is battery than those disposable duracells, although I have not done any precise measurement. I believe my last set of duracell disposable lasted about a month or so in the baby swing set, and the tenergy lasts for well over a month... Not these high capacity batteries. Don't be put off by the generic name; I've been using various sizes of Tenergy batteries for five years without any going bad.If there is one shortcoming to these batteries--and I should stress that the problem lies not only with these in particular--is that the batteries' sleeves seem destined to fail long before the conductive paste inside them ceases to hold a useful charge. |
