They maintain a constant power instead of a pulsing power signal which is what cheaper batteries do in order to last longer. I run sound and video production and use ONLY these batteries in my wireless mics! I've never had a problem with them.The seller is very easy to work with, and ships everything quickly! I'd never used the Procell line from Duracell before, but trusted the Duracell name enough to go through with this purchase. I've not been disappointed. The 144 batteries are packaged in 6 larger boxes, which themselves contain 6 4-packs of batteries each. Everything is packaged in cardboard and is easy to open; no frustrating plastic clam-shell packaging here.As for performance, I've not done any scientific studies to gather metrics, but my gut feeling is that the Procell's are on par with your name brand batteries purchased at a brick and mortar.
