The brush works well and automatically recharges each day when you return it to the base. My wife and I both have arthritis and this is very lightweight so it is easy to brush longer. Plus being rechargeable it will save on batteries over the battery model so the difference is worth it. No doubt it has a fixed number of charge cycles so eventually it will go bad but for the cost it should be reasonable.
