SANYO NEWEST VERSION RECHARGE 1500 TIMES eneloop AAA Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries X 12 batteries Review

SANYO NEWEST VERSION RECHARGE 1500 TIMES eneloop AAA Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries X 12 batteries Details

Product Description

When you change batteries, you want immediate power. Most rechargeable batteries need to be charged for full capacity when used. That could be inconvenient. GE/SANYO Eneloop AAA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries are pre-charged and ready for work when initially installed. That's exciting! With normal rechargeable batteries it made sense to charge them just before you wanted to use them. Otherwise, there was too much risk that the battery would not provide full power when needed due to degradation of stored power. Therefore there was a checkpoint on every vacation checklist - Charge batteries. Then the endless wait until the batteries are finally charged. even the most advanced and most expensive chargers typically take at least 15 minutes. This can be very long 15 minutes, if the taxi is waiting at the door. Now you can forget all this. Charge the eneloop, whenever you have time for it and store them. The extremely low self-discharge of eneloop batteries saves you from all the charging stress.

  • New in Original sealed packs - 12 batteries newest AAA eneloop 800 mAh rechargeable AAA batteries for TV remotes, portable flashlights, and more
  • Re-charged and ready to use right out of the pack; preserves charge for long periods of time

4.0 out of 5 stars Eneloop Vs Eneloop XX., July 8, 2011
This review is from: SANYO NEWEST VERSION RECHARGE 1500 TIMES eneloop AAA Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries X 12 batteries (Electronics)
The good:

1) Made in Japan.
2) Pre-charged & ready to use.
3) Rechargeable 1500X (X = times / cycles). I'm happy with just 500X.

The not so good:

1) 2000 mAh. That's not enough juice to provide stamina for power hungry devices.

Background:

For over 4yrs now, I've been using the 'made in Japan', Low Self Discharge (LSD) AA & AAA rechargeable batteries from Sanyo called Eneloop & Eneloop 1500. I use them with all the remote controls & electronic devices / gadgets that I have. I have over a dozen pairs of the Sanyo Eneloop batteries & I like to keep them organized. I have them all marked / labeled in pairs so that I don't mix the batteries when I'm charging them. The plain white color of the Sanyo Eneloop is a plus point here.

For remote controls, the Eneloops are perfect. A single charge c'd stay for more than a year. No complaints. It's when I use the Eneloops with the Canon PowerShot A590IS... Read more

Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: SANYO NEWEST VERSION RECHARGE 1500 TIMES eneloop AAA Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries X 12 batteries (Electronics)
Batteries arrived quick in retail packs of 4. I replaced the factory Panasonic batteries in my cordless phones. With the old batteries we would charge them for hours, then go to use the phone and it would just die. I almost threw out the phone which we liked when it was working.

With these new batteries the phones are working better than ever!

The batteries were supposed to be pre-charged, but after installing them the phones prompted me to charge for 7 hours.....but I think that is just a standard message whenever the phone senses batteries were changed. Batteries hold their charge very well.

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent rechargeables, May 14, 2012
This review is from: SANYO NEWEST VERSION RECHARGE 1500 TIMES eneloop AAA Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries X 12 batteries (Electronics)
I got these primarily for my wireless mouse and keyboard because they run through AAA batteries quick enough to justify rechargeables over alkaline. I was at my local warehouse store debating to get these or another brand and another shopper saw me perplexed and suggested I opt for the eneloop. Im glad I did. They work great, last longer than I expected and recharge to full capacity. I would say regular batteries lasted about a month and these normally last about 3 months in keyboard and 2 in the mouse. probably longer but I change them out when the indicator comes on since they are rechargeable anyway. Prices were lower at the warehouse store than they are online, so check out that option too.

The only thing i notice is that I seldom need 12 rechargeable AAA batteries at once. It is nice to have the ability to swap in a fresh pair while the old ones recharge but I really could have done with half that. considering the price, I would suggest evaluating your battery need and... Read more
